The mission of the Madison Area Potters Guild is to provide educational opportunities and supportive relationships for professional and non-professional potters and ceramic artists in the greater Madison, Wisconsin area.
The purpose of the organization is to:
- Provide potters and ceramic artists with educational opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills, inspire creativity, and enhance the practice of pottery and ceramic arts;
- Provide potters and ceramic artists with opportunities for meaningful interactions and a supportive network in which to share information, explore ideas, and gain support;
- Provide potters and ceramic artists with opportunities to present their work to the public through exhibits, shows, and art fairs; and
- Further the common good and general welfare by enhancing the public’s knowledge, interest and appreciation of pottery and ceramic arts through exhibitions, presentations, and sales.
The Madison Area Potters Guild is a membership organization that welcomes potters and ceramic artists of all skill levels.
The Guild is a 501(c)(3) organization. We welcome tax-deductible contributions to support our mission.
